Dashboard Tutorial
At Celira, we aim to keep the dashboard user-friendly while incorporating essential features requested by our potential clients during our Customer Discovery project. This guide will walk you through the main functionalities of the dashboard.
Projects Dashboard
After logging into Celira, you’ll be redirected to the Projects Dashboard. Here, you can:
- View your projects: See all the projects you’ve created or worked on.
- Create a new project: If you’ve already localized your app without using Celira, you can upload your existing JSON translation files. Celira will use AI to generate new translations and allow you to manage them directly in the dashboard. You can download an example of the format the JSON must have from here.
Upcoming Features
In future updates, we plan to integrate GitHub to allow content managers to update and publish new translations directly to a live project without needing a developer, ensuring a seamless workflow.
Managing Translations
To manage a specific project’s translations:
- Click on the project you want to manage.
- You’ll be taken to the translations page where all available translations for the project are displayed.
- From here, you can:
- Edit translations: Modify existing translations using the dashboard’s editor.
- Search through texts: Quickly search through the original language to find specific phrases for translation.
- Add a new language: you can also add a new language to an existing project.
- Click on the "Add New Language" button.
- A pop-up window will prompt you to select from the 25 supported languages.
- Ensure that you don’t select a language that’s already been translated for the project to avoid redundancy.
- Once selected, Celira will quickly translate your website into the new language, and the translation will appear in your dashboard for further editing if necessary.
- Edit translations: Modify existing translations using the dashboard’s editor.
Once you’ve made your edits, you can download the updated JSON files and replace the translations on your server to apply the changes.
Script Page
In addition to the "Projects" page, there is also a "Script" page designed specifically for developers. Here, you can:
- Download the Celira script.
- Generate a Script Key required to run the Celira script in your development environment.
